Our mission

Analytics teams deserve answers, not more pivot tables.

Golden Analytics was founded in 2024 in Bellevue, Washington, to fix a problem that has plagued data teams for years: knowing that a metric moved is easy. Knowing which segment, which cohort, which dimension drove the move has always required hours of manual investigation. We are changing that.

Our story

Built by analysts, for analysts.

Francois Ajenstat spent years building analytics products, watching the same pattern repeat on every team: a KPI drops, someone fires off a Slack message, and an analyst spends the next two hours dragging pivot tables trying to find the answer. The question was always the same. The workflow was always the same. The results were always delayed.

In 2024, Francois co-founded Golden Analytics with Sophie Mercier and Anjali Sharma to automate that investigation. The idea was straightforward: every dimension in your warehouse is a candidate driver. Run the attribution algorithm across all of them simultaneously, rank by contribution, and surface the answer in plain language. No pivot tables. No analyst ticket. No waiting.

We are independently funded, which means we optimize for the product, not for pitch-deck metrics. Our customers are data teams at growth-stage companies who need fast, reliable answers to metric questions so they can spend their time on work that actually requires human judgment.
